Vision
We believe wealth inequality is the root cause of today's most pressing problems. Our goal is a future where everybody has enough and abundance is shared.
Mission
Current financial systems incentivise individuals to accumulate more wealth than they can reasonably spend in a lifetime. We act early to catalyse redistribution - committing for the long term, working alongside partners, building on what's already working. We aim to redistribute the Foundation's wealth within the founding trustees' lifetime.

Our Approach
Every pound we deploy in grants, loans, private equities and public market investments reflects our values; we do not believe in the model of investing now in extractive ways to later distribute the financial returns for impact. Beyond financial capital, we bring reputational and social capital to every partnership.
We deploy grants, loans, revenue shares, equity investments and other instruments. The right instrument depends on what is most helpful to our partners.
Our goal is to further empower partners and communities with all forms of capital. We believe everyone does their best work when there is mutual trust, support, learning and care.
Systemic change in social and financial systems takes time. We commit patiently for the long term, allowing partners to build with space and resources to chase outsized impact goals.
We start where we know - the UK - but our vision is global. We actively seek partnerships beyond borders and look to catalyse wealth redistribution internationally.
